SUMMARY:Youth Transition Program – Exploring Life After High School II
DESCRIPTION:Youth at Friendswood HS will get to dive into another game as a group\, called Adulting 101\, where they will get to practice skills such as: budgeting for one’s needs\, picking a career based off of interests and expenses\, and other daily living tasks that might be required of them in the future as independent adults. By practicing these skills in a fun format with their peers\, participants will have increased knowledge and understanding of what adult responsibilities outside of a school setting look like and be better prepared for setting up goals for their own futures with their loved ones.

SUMMARY:Cooking Class - CCISD Clear Falls
DESCRIPTION:Participant will practice their using a George Foreman Grill to make their own customized Panini Sandwich. They will review the recipe and steps before starting the process\, gather ingredients\, and clean up directions. Participant will get to choose their own ingredients for their Panini Sandwich\, taste their finished product\, and take home a copy of the step-by-step recipe/process (including clean-up directions) if wanted. This will enable the individual to be better equipped to independently use a George Foreman Grill to make a Lunch\, Dinner\, or Snack.
